Emerging from the periphery of the kernowbeat scene in Falmouth, Love Fortress have become frequenters of the local circuit. With stylings of late 60s psych pop, which can skewer toward the absurdist – they are often seen wearing nice shirts.

Voiced and plucked by Penzance songwriting duo Isaac Tinley & Ollie Carr and composed together as a full quintet – Love Fortress made their debut at a kernowbeat event in early 2025. Initially a four piece with Karl Eggert (Drums) & Flo Sunderland (Synth/Keytar), they’ve recently acquired Henry McCabe on co-lead guitar & occasional bass to complete the line-up.
