“She sounds just like the record” - Dan Pascoe, BBC Introducing
Kitty Crocker is an up and coming Americana and pop-rock artist from Cornwall whose sound blends relatable storytelling with bold, cinematic hooks. She blends sharp-witted lyricism with an indie-pop edge, drawing comparisons to CMAT and Lizzy McAlpine while carving her own lane. Last summer Kitty and her band played at Boardmasters on The View stage with BBC Introducing and she recently played her debut headline show in Plymouth, where she demonstrated how elevated her songs become with a band behind her. At just 20, Kitty has already released two EPs that showcase her mature songwriting ability and she has just released the lead single ‘‘Ruined My Summer ’ from her upcoming third EP.
She is consistently improving on her previous work while staying true to her sound and writes in a way that is both unique and relatable. Her songs feel fresh and lend themselves to a live setting really nicely, making her fit effortlessly on to any stage. This year Kitty looks forward to playing more festivals and headline shows and playing to new audiences whenever she can. She has previously played at Bristol Beacon supporting Tom Hicox and over the year supported many local artists at some great grassroots venues. She continues to progress as an artist and plays to bigger audiences who are really invested in her and her music.
