COSM is an international amalgamation of musicians from both sides of the Atlantic. Originally hailing from Virginia, brothers Tom (vocals/guitar) and Jim (bass/harmonies) Hunter, decided to disband their previous band and relocate across the pond to start a new project. They settled in their old tour manager Emily Howarth’s (guitar) hometown, just outside of Falmouth.

After meeting Zach O’Loughlin (drums), they began recording and gigging around the southwest to establish new roots in early 2024. In just a short year, they moved on to headline several gigs and small festivals from Falmouth to Bristol, in addition to releasing their self-titled EP to vinyl via local label “Krautpop!”.

Somewhere between psych and shoegaze, COSM manages to be not quite either. With loud, dreamy guitars, sparkling vocal harmonies, and heavy hitting drums, their songs feel expansive while remaining concise and never failing to deliver infectious choruses.
